Debrief from First Event this summer

Stone Mountain trip Friday June 14 3pm

Thanks to our tour guide, a GSU student, Tayara for the wonderful combination of Geology and Ecology @ Stone Mountain

It was great weather for a 1.5 hour hike.
We discussed the geological processes that created Stone Mountain, the flora and fauna of the park, including the invasive species, as well as visiting their museum.

All for FREE (entrance, parking, museum, AND 3 tour guides), A big thanks toStone Mountain Park for the first field trip Friday event Summer 2024!
